Thank you.

I would like to thank my peers for their honesty and courage. It is not easy for individuals to share experiences where they have felt uncomfortable, angry or hurt, but these students have  been open about their time at Princeton in order to better the university community. Again, most - if not all - of the students I have spoken with so far explained that their overall experiences at Princeton have been positive. Still, the only way to make Princeton an inclusive, safe, fostering learning environment for all students is to recognize and address these issues of prejudice and inequality. At this point,  my peers and I do not have a concrete idea of how to solve these problems; however, I believe that the first step in any problem-solving process is open discussion. If you are a member of the Princeton University community, I encourage you to think about your actions and how you can best support your peers and yourself.

If you are interested in getting involved or would like to share your story, please let me know.
